Alzheimer's Disease
Not something of great concern to you who are
of child-bearing age, but worth just noting a few pointers to avoidance in the future.
I have done a few hair analyses on people’s parents who have Alzheimer’s. They have often been quite high in levels of toxic metals, especially lead or aluminium.
It is helpful to them when these are lowered. It is important to note that flu and other vaccines usually contain significant amounts of mercury and aluminium.
They also have very low levels of essential minerals, particularly Manganese. Manganese is the only mineral that carries oxygen to the mitochondria of the brain cells.
Without oxygen, the brain cell cannot “work”
The most usual reason for lack of Manganese is the organophosphate pesticides. These inactivate the choline-containing enzymes.
These are the enzymes that are needed to escort Manganese, across the gut-blood barrier. In other words to ensure it can get out
of the intestine and into the blood, where it can pick up the oxygen and get on with the job.
Organophosphates are widely used as pest destroyers on food not grown organically. This is one of the very good reasons for eating organic.
(the other is that the food has much more trace mineral content anyway).
Not only are organophosphates found on food, they have also been used as moth-proofing and fire-retardant in/on carpets, curtains,
soft-furnishings and so on. You name it, the chemical firms who make OP’s will have tried to “proof” everything in sight!
If you ask for carpets not to be sprayed this is usually possible to avoid. (Don’t buy them if it isn’t!)
Unsprayed materials are available from Healthy House in Gloucestershire and from Blendworth at Horndean in Hants. (See useful addresses).
Another source of organophosphates are “flea drops” or flea collars on pets, which can give the pets epilepsy and which are very bad
for the owner’s also, if the pets are much loved and petted.
See Section on Toxic Metals – avoid all contamination of these as much as possible, especially crumbling old paint, aluminum
containing anti-persperant, mercury dental repairs and smoking. Especially smoking cannabis. People who do this appear to be
full of toxic metals especially cadmium, they also often have over-high levels of nickel and manganese.
It is hard to tell whether these are an integral part of “The Weed”, whether the stuff is contaminated in preparation,
or whether the cannabis just boxes up liver function so that harmful contaminants that would normally have been pushed
via the liver get left in the blood.
Whatever, my guess would be this contamination plays a part in the “post-cannabis psychosis” that is currently filling
our mental hospitals and costing us all an economy-threatening amount of money. Do not use it! Staying sane is vitally
important, for yourself, your partner, your children, for the poor old NHS and the future taxpayers who we are all busy creating.
Food additives are other great brain bugbear. I would buy copies of “Find Out” and “Watch It” and never go shopping without them!
Lots of additives are put not only into food, but also into cosmetics, shampoos, household cleaners etc. etc.
Be very beady eyed. Allergies to certain foods are another source of malabsorption, and therefore they lead to the brain being very poorly serviced.
(See Section on Allergies).
Yet another comparatively recent menace is the electromagnetic pollution – mobile phones, their masts etc. (See our Section on Electromagnetism.)
Again, we need to be aware of what is happening and what we can all do to help ourselves. See our Section on EMP but more particularly visit
