Earache

Studies were done in America examining the exudate from children with otitis media (middle ear infection).
It was found that in more than two-thirds of those examined the cause of the infection was Chlamydia – presumably
picked up in the birth canal. Other causes were varied but included B strep.
It is said that 25% of the population of America has Chlamydia. In one count up, some time ago, we found that
22% of people coming to Foresight had it. It is quite likely therefore that the situation is approximately the
same over here.
This is one of the reasons, apart from miscarriage, why it is so important to always check out for
genito-urinary infections prior to conception.
If a baby is screaming with pain and the eardrum might be likely to burst, causing deafness, then
the use of antibiotics as an emergency measure may be inevitable.
Afterwards however, it is worth giving Vitamin drops and Ziman (Zinc, Manganese and B6) drops to build
up the immunity. It would also be worth taking her/him to a homeopath to ascertain the identity of
the bug, and get a remedy prescribed.
